My foglights havent worked since I bought the car. I have not investigated the problem. It does seem coincidental that both lights are out. Without having inspecting the bulbs I have a couple questions.
1.Did gts ever come with lights but they didnt work?
2.Do the foglamps have relays or just fuzes or both?

If they came with them they should work.
Think they just have fuses only.
Check to see if there is any signs of water in the foglights, If you done see any moisture or water in the fog light than remove the bulb and make sure they are not burnt out. If they look good than chances are either you have a blown fuse or the foglight switch can be bad which you will have to test to make sure if is getting power, and when in the on position it is letting power up the circuit.

check the bulbs first as mentioned before, you could possibly need a new switch or the previous owner disconnected them and forgot about it. there was a problem with the foglight switch on the GTs that would cause it to short out and overheat/overload the headlight switch (as they are on the same circuit I think)

LXs obvioulsy never had that problem...
