this car is nitrous fed, so heads would help a bit, but being a vert, i belive the heads would push me from "quick" to "too quick"

if i pass the 13.99 mark, i have to get a cage, and im not gonna do that!
(might not sound fast, but im at 5900ft elevation, AOD tranny, and a 3570lb race weight)

but you can gain a honest 20hp from gt40p's, and when "race ported" its possible to gain another 20-30hp from them!

a good cam, intake, and ported gt40's, plus everything else set up (ignition, fuel, bolt-on's) you can hit the 300hp mark.

im at atleast 300hp on the spray, and i only payed $600 for the entire install and kit.

good luck.

I'd just do spray, but I'm not looking for fast times at a track, I just want a bit of extra power on demand.

Ah hell, I just found a GT40 intake from a Cobra, located right down the street. Too bad $400 is still retarded for it.

yea, nitrous is great, but you have to use it under special conditions!

if your out to race someone on the street, then you have to have your bottle open, if you dont find anyone, then you wasted the nitrous in the line, plus the power isent 100% if your bottle pressure is low, if its real hot out, it can make it choppy, etc.

i love the juice for at the track, but using it on the street just isent really reliable.

plus you end up like me, blowing a intake gasket, and having to break down your car!

lmao.. Yeah, me using nitrous sounds like a very bad idea. I think I'll pass. ;P

Ugh, these cobra intakes make me want to scream. I heard that I just need an elbow adapter to fit in the Explorer intake I bought..is that right?

I keep forgetting, but are Cobra intakes supposed to flow better than Explorer intakes?
