well need to pick my gaskets, as tommarow i pull my heads off.

cars being sprayed with 100shot of nitrous, thats why i want the "performance" gasket, as i dont want it to blow out.

looking at summit there seems to be many many different types.

im pretty sure i have stock bore, engine was rebuilt 49k miles ago by previous owner, but im unaware if its stock bore, or if its .030 over.

does it matter if its .030 over and i buy regular 4.1000 gaskets?




help me pick a good gasket, as i need to order these ASAP!

i like the 1011's but whats the big difference in the thickness?

ones .039, the other is .041


whats the difference between the two?

(im guessing compression, but what else?)

the 1011 is a better gasket for "performance" applications, but im running the 9333 PT-1's in my 347... so, you could go either way

i just want that extra hold if i can get it ya know?

the 9333's look pretty basic, and they dont really seem like there for "high performance"

We've got the 1011's I think, it's a nice gasket. Got the blue rubberyness to it, seemed a bit better than the other gasket ( we had the cheaper ones first then got the better ones when we had to tear the motor down again)

I'll be leaving Wednesday around noon-ish, then shipping out Thursday. i should be in Oklahoma by Friday morning.

I've taken tomorrow out of work, no reason to work the day before I ship out! And today is a holiday.... duh heh

and I would recommend the 1011-1's
