Default Will the stock Explorer elbow work in my mustang?

I ordered an Explorer GT40 intake and it's coming with the stock elbow. Admittidly, I'm a cheap bastard and I don't really feel like blowing $100 on one of these: (http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku) if I don't need to. My friend seems to think I can make use of the Explorer elbow, but I have no idea.

Has anyone tried this?

Not sure If it will work, I think you may have to remove the strut tower brace if you have one. Otherwise I think the throttle body will run into it.

Hmm. I heard the strut tower brace wasn't going to fit over the Explorer intake anyway..?

LOL. Totally random, sorry. I almost bought a Cobra intake just a few days ago from a guy named Greg on ebay. He lives in Olathe, too, I think. LOL.

Go Cats indeed. ;D
