Ive heard this somewhere before and I live by it now.

"Mustangs are like cockroaches, You get one out of the garage and somehow another finds its way back in."

As for me and my car. I dont plan to get rid of it unless It gets totaled and I cant fix it. Once I get crap paid off Id like to get a 69 fastback and restomod it.

cool i am not the only one with this sickness. my first FAST car was a stang and i got hooked. i bought a 79 5.0 for 300 dollars blown main rear seal and all , i bought a haynes manual...built it up myself with a book and i have never been the same since..i bought 3 more mustangs after that..then got married and went the family route with no stang..2 years ago i got the sickness back from a car show and bought my 95 . life is good work goes faster thinking about my car and i cant wait to drive her... the way i see it the only way a person can truly be sick.......is to not have a stang..

I grew up with them in my family. My Dad's first car was a 66. My Uncle had a '70 Mach 1, another Uncle had an '82GT. The first car my folks had that i remember when we were little kids was a '79 6cyl. My sister-in-law has a '65 that's been under construction for the better part of a decade. But for me it wasn't until after my wife left while i was overseas. Coming home a single man and starting over, i bought an '06 that i instantly started modding. Then i met my fiance'. She bought me an '89lx convertible (currently under construction from the rooter to the tooter), and i found her a '65 coupe 289 w/ C4 that we're finishing up together! Next one will be a '65 pedal car for our baby boy that's on the way! She goes out in the garage and starts in and she says she can feel him kickin'. I think he's trying to push the gas!!! Later on I will build a wheel standing (but streetable) notch!
