so you still have a 7.5 rear in it or 8.8 swapped in?? I can't remember??

if you decide to try the quad shock set up you'll need the brackets that bolt to the rear frame rails on both sides, and on an 84 not sure if they have the pretapped holes where location should be cause 85 was the first year of the quad shock set up

cool^^^^^^find the brackets and a set of quads and see if that works or helps as long as you have a decent set of upper and lower control arms and no worn out bushings , you shouldn't have to many issues

the control arms are brand new uppers are upr double adj. and lowers are gripp squared tubulars and all the bushings are new except the uppers on the axle

you were right the bushings weren't what was making my car wheel hop i'll check the pinion angle tomorrow i'm probably put it at 4* if it's not there now

lol, i kinda figured they weren your problem considering mine are crap, almost 20 years old and 400k miles later. how was the replace of those bushings on the rear end? i hear they are a PITA to remove and install.

i like MJR's suggestion but i know money can be tight at times so maybe just double checking pinion angle would be a cheap to to verify you are in need of your quad shocks. with aftermarket control arms, good lower control arm bushings and proper pinion angle you really shouldnt need those quadshocks.

i BORROWED THE CORRECT TOOL FROM pro50sc and it made the install a breeze

yea i didnt no there was actually a tool to do it till i finished but i put my new ones in the freezer to shrink them and it helped a little bit
