went to the track again tonight

Default went to the track again tonight

1st run i ran a 15.3 @ 95mph bad wheel hop suckish start
2nd run i ran a 14.7 @ 95mph just rolled out of the clutch and still bad wheel hop but still dont have the new bushings in prolly do it tomorrow and next week fix the carb the needles are sticking and the secondaries are still not opening (i no thats all i talk about)
i can tell that shes still got a lot left in her and try again next week

you need some sticky tires and if your secondaries weren't opening and if you were just running off the primaries your trap would be a lot slower, I wouldn't be suprised if they are opening, remember you can verify secondary operation on a vaccum secondary carb by snapping the throttle quickly sitting still, it needs to have a load placed on it

2.303 cause i rolled off the clutch i think my best 60' so far is a 2.2

i done that when i played with the primary needles and never seen em open

you won't see them open when snapping the throttle!! unless you took the hood off and had a mirror placed over the secondary ports it'll be hard to see them open......but based on your mph and et, I'd say they are opening, my 92 is build comparable to yours or at least I think it is?? what are your full list of mods??? and then I'll show you a vid!!! of what you are close too!!

306 b-cam stock heads offenhauser intake holley 650 1 5/8'' bbk shorties 2 1/2'' bbk o/r h single chamber super 4o flows dumped in front of the rearend deleted a/c smog and p/s pump 3:73 in the 8.8 upr double adj. control arms and frpp squared tubular lowers t-f

2.3 really sucks, with a sticky tire you could have low 14s potential, at least a solid mid 14.
