Default 1990 mustang leaking oil

Went out to the garage the other day to check out my car and noticed a huge pool of oil. It was so big it actually went alittle infront of the bumper to the middle of the car. The last time i checked out the car was about 2 days ago. What could possibly make it leak so much oil in that short of time. Could it be a bad gasket on the oil pan or something. Or possibly something worse. My neighbor took his jacks back so i only got to take a quick look underneath to see where it was coming from but couldnt figure it out. Ill buy some more oil tonight and see if it leaks again so i can see where its coming from.

i would say it could very well be the rear main seal. that along with the valve cover gaskets leaked so much on my 93 lx that it seized the motor.

crawl underneath it or jack it up so you can and with it running see where the leak is running out

check the gasket on the oil filter...ive had that happen once. or did you double gasket it? check the drain plug, make sure you got a gasket on that.

Did you start using synthetic oil recently? Ive heard youll get leaks becauce its a bit more slippery and **** out of the old gaskets.

If its not bleedin its not runnin

No the oil hast been changed since i got the car about 4 months ago. Ive only driven it a few times because it had overheating problems so its been in my garage pretty much the whole time ive had it. I was hoping though that it was something simple like the plug being loose or maybe fell out or something. The cars lowered though and i dont have a jack so i cant get under it at the moment.
