Default Back at the 5.0

As some of you know i painted the mustang. Well it orange peeled like no other. So im back to sanding and trying again. This time though im ganna take off every panel and do it parts at a time.

are you rebasing? or just wetsanding and reclearing??

is it single stage??

for clear and single stage try jacking up the pressure a little, move closer to the panel and speed up the pass speed on the gun


what pressure did you spray at? and what kind of gun are you using?

you need to evaluate what reducer you were using, they make varing degrees of reducer for the temperture at which you are spraying , if you use a reducer that is a fast dry for cooler temp when it is hot out the dry time will be accelerated even faster causing orange peel to form, so check your reducer and see for what outside temps that reducer falls within

how long has it been since you painted it? be careful when gone back on fresh paint it may wrinkle up and react funny to the new paint. what did you use?

Umm idk. im sanding.

Its Duplicolor prime coat and clear


Not sure on pressure i did not spray it my dad did

have you tried just wet sanding and buffing it first?
