Flowmaster exhausr 3in piping
Hello everyone, i am plannig in purchasing a new exhasut for my 93 feature white lx fox convertable. Since I prefer the old muscle car sound, I am interested in the flowmasters. Just dont now if I should buy the 2.5in or the 3in system. It would be mostly for street use and im planning going N/a until I can afford a supercharger in the future. let me know the pros and cons of each 2.5 or 3in piping.

Unless you plan on running a supercharger or turbo setup with high boost or big stroker setup you dont need 3 in anything, it`s higher priced and you loose back pressure for a n/a setup, when you get to the rear it is almost impossible to get your 3in tailpipes to work, if you go back that far!
I have 1 3/4 in primary shorty headers and 2 1/2 x-pipe and dynomax mufflers with 2 1/2 in tailpipes out the back and they fit close!
I have plenty of exaust left to flow! in all i have about 800$ in my exaust and love it!
it`s on the quiet side til the action starts!
but the golden rule of (it`s your car and your prefferance ) and wallet holds true in this situation too!

i wanted to make sure i didnt have any exaust problems and had enough flow for later upgrades!
i actually gained a tenth n/a at the track over the 1 5/8 in shorties!
