Default School me on '94/'95 Cobras

Thinking about buying a very low (less than 5k) mileage '95 Cobra.

Just wanting to know things like stock 1/4 times, real power output (I've heard they were underrated? Could be wrong), just any little things like that.

Thanks, guys.

There was a bunch of info in one of the stickys but it seems to have been lost in the transition to the new forum software. As far as your specific questions, they are rated at 240 but put out around 220 to the wheels which would suggest 250-260 at the crank. Stock 1/4 miles times should be somewhere in the low 14's in the mid to high 90's mph. I suck at drag racing but looking at my last timeslip I could probably pulled off a 14.1 or 14.2 at 97mph if I had launched right. I'm stock BTW. Onyx mentioned once that he ran a 13.9 with pretty much just exhaust but he's probably a better driver than me. At drag racing at least

What else do you want to know?

That pretty much covers it....I already know a lot about 302s so theres not a lot to question about modding and all that.

Hopefully I'll be a regular in this section pretty soon, though.

yeah stock they're good for low 14s with a high 90mph trap. With some bolt-ons, gears and a tune they can see low 13s if you can drive em.
