I was going down the road yesterday at about 65 mph and I cut on A/C, the engine clunked pretty hard and then the engine almost cut off. I cut the A/C off and it was fine. Well, about 2 minutes later, my car all of a sudden died completely and after 3 seconds, it came back on by itself because i was still rolling with clutch disengaged. Then it does it again and doesnt come back on so i roll over to the side of the road and turn the key back on and there is absolutely no power going to the car. I pop the hood and adjust the battery cable (which was loose), and when i got back in the car and turned the key this time, it had power and crunk right up. Any idea what could be making my car do this? Im almost positive it wouldnt be my battery cable terminals.

well the only change was you moved the loose cable!! so most likely that was the issue, clean connections and tighten cables and see if it occurs again
