Default Swapping engines 5L /2,3L

Could anybody tell me what is the technicality to put a V8 5L engine instead a 2,3L in a Foxbody ? Thanking you

It's not that hard. Do it right and switch out all the 4 banger stuff for 5.0 parts.

^^^+1 in my mind it will be alot easier to do it in the middle of a good resto...

that way you can pull out all of the 2.3 wiring, and get a 5.0 ECU and harness, other than that, i believe the two use the same motor mounts...

I already own a '81 hatchback with the 5L, and wish to buy a '80 notchback with the 2.3L.
The hatchback is rather well rusty, and the notchback is in good condition ...

his year mustangs are carb'd.

the swap would not be too difficult if you're mechanicly inclined and have experience.

i suggest upgrading the suspension and rearend while everything is out.
