Arrow So the new front coils went in today

The ride quality is much better. A lil stiff but I'm hoping the springs will settle a little. Here's some pics of the 2 springs compared and the new ones installed.

200 rate on the left, 150 rate on the right.

New springs in and load off the wheels

Here are the old springs w/ the load of the car on the ground

Now w/ the new springs. Huge difference in the space between the coils now.

Ride height is the same for both spring rates.

That one I'm not so sure of. Think about it, the old coil is wound up tight from adjustment, which means when it launches, there is more preload on the spring to extend the front end all the way up. I'm not so sure the same is going to apply w/ less preload on the new springs. I'll have to wait to see next time out at the track. As it is now, it launches pretty hard as you can see in my sig.

so you took out the 150's and put in the 200's? I have 150's in my car now and its kind of rough for my liking's.... was the 200's worth the swap? definitely noticeable difference in ride quality?

OK weird. I just replied and the post is missing.

Anyway, I could have probably went w/ 185's, but I wanted to be sure the problem was solved. So yeah, I'm pretty happy w/ the ride now. Still a lil stiff, but not harsh like it was.

Not quite while at rest, but I'm sure they were while hitting/going over bumps.
