what does the triple X mean on the top of the block thats right behind the lifters
it's also got SB 23 in the middle of it

Perhaps if you titled your thread "What does the XXX XXX on my engine block mean?" rather than XXX XXX someone will give you a worthwhile answer.

To be honest, I thought it was a junk post or spam, that's why I looked at it. I was all geared up and ready to delete it. Change it and you'll get help!

as soon as i read the thread i instantly knew he was talking about a block. I guess i am a five oh junkie LOL. anyways, its just a stock block, nothing special.

roller cam block most likely, you should be looking for the casting numbers on the block on the ear by the dowl close to where the starter would be, e7, or f1 maybe are the first numbers

all my 5.0 blocks have said XXX on them.... its a stocker.
