Ok i think i have decided to go with a 347. how does this kit sound https://fordstrokers.com/index.php?t...N&currency=usd cast steel crank is will this be ok for 400+ rwhp? im just not sure on how cast hold up. when it comes to build my own car i hate it. i cant seem to make up my mind.... i got a max of 2000 i can spend on the short block..... i still need to get all the gaskets and get my block machined which i have no idea how much its going to be.... is getting light wieght i beams worth it? any advice would be great. thx peeps

well theres a 1000 and then small stuff, frost pugs, timing chain, gasket set another 150,then balance,200 balancer and flywheel for 28 oz balance 250-500 , cam 150-400 block work 500-1000 dude im telling you it adds up if you are gonna buy from them i would just send him your block or just order a short from him it will be cheaper most likely than local builder most likely .

and cast will be fine for 400 rwhp or so but if your gonna throw boost too it on top of the 347....that would be pushing the boundaries a little.
