Which is better, 94 or 95 cobra?

i have a stock block 331 (302 stroker, .030 overbore and 3.25 stroke)
its fine as long as you dont pass up 450rwhp.
if you plan to throw more than a 100 shot or a blower on it, get a dart block.
dart blocks are 2k, then machine work. 600 n/a is $$$

There is no performance difference between the 94-95 cobras, only a few options. e.g. the 95 cobra convertible was available with a factory hard top. In 95 the cobra "R" was also available. I had a 5.8L rated at 300hp and 365tq. It had no backseat, sound deadening material, ac, radio, pw/dl/mirrors or foglamps and was available in white only. Good luck finding a Cobra R, only 250 were made.
If you want to buy a cobra, buy it for that reason......IT's A COBRA and they didn't make too many of them. As a matter of fact, only 11,267 cars in 94-95 combined. I wouldn't buy a cobra thinking that it is a better platform to build a hot street car than a GT since you will be changing everyting anyway.

I agree...but having a Cobra is nice

There are actually a lot of differences between the 5.0 GTs and Cobras but say what you will. Heads, cam, rocker arms, intake manifold and brakes to name a few. That being said I still say getting a Cobra over a GT is very much worth it.
The only differences I'm aware of is the '95 has an SVT badge on the trunk lid and front piece on the side skirts.
As for the new internals, the block is the weak point on these cars so if you're planning on anything much over 500whp you'll need a new block.

There's just so many choices idk what I really want to do. One of my friends has a 98 mustang and he did all new internals, stroker kit, etc (idk what else) and is pushing about 500rwhp and a little more tq. Can the 4.6's handle just as much as the 5.0's or are they better?
Hey timspony, what do you hae in your 91? and how much are you pushing to the wheels?
