I found a twin turbo nissan 240 complete at the junk yard. If you pulled everything off of that, you'd probably have enough misc. piping, an intercooler, bov, waste gates on the turbos and the two turbos to make enough power on our sbf's. t3 .48's i believe they were. I bet you could get all that for like 350-400the most expensive thing would be your injectors. Its possible man, more than possible, but it will take time and patience to gather the parts, and by that time, you could have probably saved up enough to do it better...

but, there's plenty of turbo cars around here, you can pull all sorts of **** off of. I say go for it.

Sweet. I practically live in Miami. There's more junk yards here than land fills. But I doubt there will be anything worth salvaging. I live in rice capital of the world and I'm sure they pulled every decent turbo that ever hit the yard. I was informed ponydown sells a lot of stuff for cheap. Even partial kits. So im taking a look into it.

i think turbos that are used on a 240 are a little undersized for a mustang..... just a thought

the .48's are about as small as you want to go, but there's plenty of guys over at turbomustangs, that have used those, and the IHI's which are even smaller to make decent power!! If you're on a budget you gotta do what you gotta do.

the only reason i say shoot for engine parts is because he can't get a good turbo setup for a grand...you wanna do it right the first time. get what you can for a thousand...cam, intake, maybe heads

I wouldn't mind getting header/cam combo first. Any recommendations? Is it a difficult job?

Just remembered my fox is a 5.0 H.0, would the cam job still be worth it?
