Default Buying a super charger

Ok I looked at one today. Its a paxton SN93. Its complete with a boost controller, fuel management, 6 and 10 lb pullies, tubeing....... Its missing some bolts. The guy is asking 500$ for it. Is it worth it?

Well, is it worth it to you to take a chance on a blower that may not work? What's the guys feedback?

Yea I hear that. Well I work at an autoparts store, and the guy came in and asked if that was my mustang outside. and then he told me that he was parting out his. so I went to his house today to take a look at it.

$500 sounds real cheap...I would want to know if the SC has a problem!

I know Paxton doesnt make that model anymore. Its pretty clean, looks like it was barely used. The pully spins, and is tight so the bearings are still good. My only concern was that is that model worth 500$

...I guess if everything looked good, why not....not the best SC, but you can have some fun & should be able to get your money back if you sell...nice LX by the way!

I don't know much about superchargers honestly, but there's a reason why they stopped making that model and there could be a good reason for that. I would be real iffy on it myself.
