Default Mustang with Capri fenders

Everyone has seen capri's with stang body pieces and all but I was wondering if anyone has a pic of a stang with just the capri front fenders. I just read the article on the Coupri in the Muscle Mustangs mag and was getting more thoughts for the mods I want to do to my 83 eventually.

I like the flares that capris have but I don't like how square they are. I also like the small flare that the mustangs have on the top of the fender and kinda want to incorporate all of it into one similar to the 60's quarter panels.

I know you have read some of my threads in the past on the mods I have talked about Mjr so you know this goes well beyond the body kit. I like the look of the old GT front ends because it goes low to the ground but doesn't stick out like a dustpan lol. For some reason I like the look of a slight wide body but I don't really like the way wide body kits have been made for fox's.

I just want something one off different that doesn't look ugly bad if you know what I mean.

what are you referring to, widebody kid, do you mean the kits with the scoops and ****, or just the flared fenders

maier racing makes a mean 3 inch flared front fenders/ rear addons that i plan on getting for my road racer when i get it

pick up a copy of the latest MMFF... the cover is a nice little notch that was dubbed the "coupri" it is an '89 notch, -79 Pacecar front end, capri fenderflares all around and a slick turbo 5.0... it also has the capri 1/4 trim with the signal lamps in it....

its pretty badass

I am talking about a wide body in general and the one maier racing is the one I am refering to. It just seems a little to boxy for me. I want something very similar but one that smooths into the body a little more. I seen the maier kit years ago in an old 5.0 mag. But my idea will have quarters similar to the old stangs with the rounder quarters that will flare out a little.

Check out JBA's race car that sits at Latemodel's warehouse. Its wide body is the original widebody they made with all steel construction. Its a nice looking kit.
