Water Methanol injection

methanol injection does not make power it only allows you to max out your current parts combo by allowing you to push it to the limits with more timing as the meth charge cools the intake charge thus reducing the likely hood of detonation, there is a good article in this monthS MM&FF about methanol/water injection vs race gas..and the power gains vs using one or the other was a draw..........the article concluded that if your car is a track car with limited street driving, then race gas is the way to go, however if your's is used heavily on the street then methonal injection is the way to go as it'll be cheaper than having a constant supply of race gas and will be just as safe on the motor, but most tune their car back for street use to allow the constant use of pump gas cause pump gas coupled with methanol injection is costly to just not as much as race gas

um im not running an 85 just another car i had the first one steed to the stable was the 85 notch my car is a fuelie car has any one looked at the website snowperformance.net
