alrighty, may sound stupid..but I have always wanted a fox body stang, I'm 29yrs old, married, 3 kids...the whole deal, 2 car payment, a house payment..blah blah blah. I didnt think it was going to be in my cards to get my hands on one until i was old and senile. my luck may have changed, i'll deffinitely know by this evening. here is what i might be getting my hands on
90, lx, 5.0, auto trans (aftermarket..i'll have to ask what it was again. trick flow upper, bbk headers, flowmasters..other various doodads here and there.
its no show car right now, but its definitely a project i've always wanted. it is streetable as it sits, so i'll probably drive it around till the snow starts falling then park it in storage for the winter and maybe start tweaking things the way i want. I'm almost 100% sure this is a done deal..so let's hope everything goes as planned.



what say you? likes/dislikes...be honest, i'm open for any critisism either way you go. all i know is i'm happy as a pig in a cow pie field

it has hood pins too...wheres the puking smiley? i always liked those wings..dont know why, i'll have too see what it looks like with the top down though

keep the hood pins.. there cheap insurance, far as the spoiler.. kinda ruins the lines of an LX

I've seen that car on craigslist before. That car has been sitting for awhile, if I remember correctly. He apparently said he had alot done to the car, but I think in the ad it said it wasn't running and it was his project and all that, right?

BTW: I'm 40 minutes from St.Louis on the Illinois side, for reference.

well, he told me that the engine that was in it spun main bearings and he put another engine in it. he said it runs and drives. but yes, he did buy it as a toy/project. kinda like i'm wanting it for.

i am kinda curious as to how/why the rear end sits up so high too.
