good, glad to hear it all worked out for you honestly it doesn't look all that bad for being pieced together with junkyard stuff.

alot less banged up than my 86 , alot straighter. the nose lines up with the fenders perfect unlike my 86 which really needs a new nose and 2 new fenders. it was a ricer car gone bad. it had underglow lights. back lit plexi dash bezell/cluster. kid pulled the nasty cfi motor out and started tearing it apart since it ran bad and decided he was gunna build a mustang II with the drive train, lol. so i got the car free with 4 wheels! and not much else extra. no driveline, no brakelines. and the wrong fuel lines, battery on the wrong side, rewire th cluster for 86-93 setup. i just used the entire engine harness from a maf car and spliced in my drivers side cluster wires in the right places. still no working gas gauge. so i need to see if the sender is bad or what. i want the smog and a/c off the motor but its one there so i dont have to buy a special belt. i never knew if this motor was even any good or not so i didnt get to carried away. but i might now. if i can just stay working and have cash flow i have big plans, like a paint job! some underdrives, headers, h pipe, etc simple stuff. it has big/very wide dunlop tires in the back, super stiff suspension like nothing ive ever driven. wonder if this is why its fast but cant seem to spin the tires from light??

gears and the aod are the reason no spin from a dead stop and lack of a decent stall speed on the convertor

looks good man, tho I'd just ****** a cheapo cowl hood off of craiglist before I'd attempt to patch that poor hood... why would they hack a huge hole in it?

what i think is the kid tried to remove a scoop that was on it already and it was bondo'd on the hood. it must have broke when he tried to remove it. peices of it were still stuck to the hood.it was one of those plastic ones for the do it ur selfer. finding a 85-86 cowl hood on craigs list is hard. i will have to buy a new one or get a factory one at the boneyard. im ok with a welder so i made a scoop out of scrap sheet metal. im almost done.so faar it looks pretty good. anyways the hood is messed up already from flying up on the previous guy
