Unhappy So once again CJ's throws me a curve ball...

ahh new AFR for 1277.77!!!! I was on the site ordering a car cover for the crapbox and low and behold they have 185cc 3/8 stud mount 72cc AFRs sitting on the clearance section. I was dead set on buying a new trans either TKO or c4 and now they have to dangle these in front of my face! I have to decide today though if I want them. Agh! haha

Heads are fun to buy, but then you have to buy this and that to use them. Yours aren't broke, your probably don't need them right now and having a bad trans is probably taking all the fun out of driving you car...I would get a built T5 or a tko500 or 600. You should check out www.americanpowertrain.com I got a quote from them for a bolt in kit for a tko 600 and I thought the price sounded reasonable at 3100. They even called me to see what I really needed, then called me to go over the quote with me....

I have went through 4 cyl t 5s and ready to finally buy a good one. I plan on keeping the car a while and it makes 413 tq on the juice so a TKO 500 will be good enough! I priced it through jegs and its gonna be roughly 2 grand to put it in with the trans/bell housing/ and driveshaft. The TKO come with a shorthrow last i recall.
