I have around 300$ and want to get some new stuff for the car. Ok, heres what I have so far.

87 Gt 50.
Speed Density.
70MM Throttle Body.
MSD Cap n Rotor.
Shorty Equal Headers.
Offroad H-Pipe with Flowmasters.

Also, it had all this stuff when I bought it a few months ago. Im pretty sure the guy that had it before me didnt get the SD tuned. Should it be tuned because of the bigger TB and exhaust?

You cannot get a lot for $300. You could get gears and the install kit. However, that is the one mod I did not do myself. I got it done at a shop. For around $450 though you can get 3:73's installed. You could also pick up some underdrive pulleys for about $100.

^^^^ what usmc said and youll have a much stonger, stiffer and better looking ride.

and sd motors are finicky about any real mods heads, cams and such

that or you could buy the stuff to swap over to mass air flow for future mods...

Well I was thinking about buying the stuff for the maf swap. Unfortunately it will cost more than 300 bucks.

Any idea on whether or not my SD needs to be tuned to the intake/exhaust i currently have?

You do not need a tune w/the mods you currently have. You will need one once you add heads, cam, an intake or any forced induction.

id save the money and put it toward gears or the maf swap(if thats sometihng you want to do). if your set onspending the money and want a quick hp gain, you could get underdrive pullies and a cold air intake, but its not the best use of the money.

some guy in my area is selling his A9P eec from his 92 gt. Will this work in my car for MAF swap even though I have a 5spd? or should I stick to getting a A9L?
