Well im back fellas.. For those of you that remember my Old 85 hatch about 6 months ago(my old name was h0ss302) i couldnt stay away long. Im about to pick up an 88 LX 4 banger roller coupe. FINALLY a coupe!!!! Well it needs work like a mug, but its right up my alley.

Heres the plan. strip the interior down to just the important stuff. clean up the engine bay, paint it.. the whole 9 yards. i want to get it to be a top notch(pardon the pun) roller before i even attempt to put a motor in.

My main question.. What all will i need for a SBC to go in?(proble an lsX) I dont care if u think its blasphemy.. bottom line its my car lol.

iv heard that i can use a 4.6 k member is this true? im planning on using a ford 8.8 rear. Also how much trouble will the electrical be?

there has got to be some members on here who have done this or have the information to do it. LMK

but anyways just search around on google they make kits that include everything you'll need other than the motor and trans. and get ready for many harsh comments..

if your going to all that trouble id be putting in a nice ls2 with some head work and a nice cam and there u go 11's/high 10's all day on a nice setup in a light coupe .

No, I just think it's retarded when people put Chevys in Ford cars or Ford motors in Chevy cars. I just don't like it.

It's a Ford not a Chevy thats why. Maybe it's just a rival thing ? I don't know. I just think it ruins the car. Especially a 4 eye. And one of the best looking year for the 4 eye at that.
