Default Eh, so confused about spark plug gap. Help!

Hey guys whats up. Just doing a tune up on my ride, but I am a little confused about what to gap my plugs at. Just hoping maybe someone can give me the final word on what it should be gapped at. Info on my car

5.0
Speed Density...
70mm Throttle Body
Shorty Equal Length Headers
Offroad H-Pipe
FlowMasters
MSD Cap n Rotor.

Also, the new plugs I got are copper Autolite 24's. So if you can, let me know what I should gap them at and why I should gap them that size. I hear people say .35 - .45 for stock or .52 with stronger ignition...

Just lookin for the gap that will give me best response and power, because right now I dont know what my current plugs are gapped at, but it seems my RPM's dont start to go up quick until I get past 2.5k RPM's when flooring it.

the hesitation most likely is not a result of spark plug gap and I thought autolite 25's were the reccommended plugs for 5.0's 24's are a step colder heat range......anyway set gap anywhere from .045 to .054...on the emissions lable under your hood it'll tell you the reccommended gap setting

Gap it at .52 and you should be fine. If you have a timing light I would bump your timing up some if it hasn't been done already. That will help your throttle response a little.
