Default nitrous and cage advice

after the car gets running again i'll be putting on a nitrous kit, and hopefully soon i'll be putting in a 6pt roll cage. I've been doing research on some kits and after asking one of my nitrous guru friends i'm almost set on this kit:

http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...cat=364&page=1

anything the kit doesn't come with i should get for it. soon after the install i'll get a purge and bottle heater kit. but is there anything else?

and as far as roll cages go, i've been looking at the mm 6pts. are there any other brands that are bolt in with the same quality as mm for the same(or lower) $360 price tag.

any suggestions and help is appreciated as always...
and still no word on the motor, haha

look at team z and wolfecraft for cages and suspension stuff, they both have some really good built stuff, if i dont end up making my own cage in my next car i will be ordering mine from wolfecraft and they have a good deal going on in the winter time= sale

I'd get a purge kit, gauge to mount on the cowl so n02 pressure can be monitored and a bottle heater

well i wanted between 400-450 at the wheels, and just motor isn't going to get me there. so i'm left with throwing on the bottle haha. I just want to be sure i'm faster than a bolt on ls1.

I just put in a rear seat delete and plan on mounting the bottle there, would i still need a gauge on the cowl if i have one right behind me that i can look at? or is it that crucial to monitor it..

I have both, one on the bottle but my bottle is in the hatch area, I just like it in front of me so if I see the bottle pressure dropping during a run I know to shut it down, it's your call...and as for being faster than a bolt on ls1......what is your idea/ lead way of bolt ons for an ls-1, a friend of mine had and ls-1 with heads , cam and intake and exhaust that laid down 445 rwhp

i just want to be faster than my friends bolt on/cam ls1. it has a nasty cam and with stock everything besides the bolt ons and cam laid down 406 at the wheels. and my 313 hp won't be able to handle that

so what happens if the pressure drops? just curious

on a wet kit it'll flood it with excess fuel and car will most likely sputter and fall on it's face, what et does your buddies ls-1 run??? with 406 I'd say 11's easy so you have a tall order to fill, but you shouldn't need more than a 100 shot

he hasn't ran at the track yet right now its just his dyno queen. we both plan on going next season for sure so i'll find out then. and ok i thought if the pressure dropped something would get f'd up, and i don't want anymore of that.
and you called it, a 100 shot is all i'm going to do.
