I ask because I don't know wether to go with the 3.73's or 4.10's, Its my DD and I want to save as much gas as possible, but my concern is that I have stock 3.55's, therefore would there be much change (will I feel a change) going from 3.55's to 3.73's.

Thanks.
You're driving a fox, I wouldn't worry about 3.55 gears because no fox came with them. If you have a GT it should be 3.27s and 3.08s with an LX. It also depends on the trans you have. A 5spd trans can do with 3.73s or 4.10s both are going to affect your mileage but the 4.10s will pack a bigger punch. If you have an auto I wouldn't bother with anything other than 4.10s. Thats just my opinion, but the stock gear part is right.

stick with 3.73's and the change will be minimal......unless you have a 27-28 inch tire, then the 3.73 will be your best bang for the buck for street / strip/ DD usage

Yeah, I've got the AOD with 225/55/16 and basically I want something that will come off the line with quickness at a red light (lots of punks out here with hondas and **** that try to beat me off the line).

So 3.73's or 4.10's?

But I'm pretty sure I've got 3.55's stock Projectquick, I remember looking at the letter on my door sticker then matching it to 3.55's, the list to match was provided by someone on MF.

Then they were BSing you. I've never heard of a fox having 3.55s stock. What is the code on your door sticker?

Well maybe saleens came with 3.55 but no regular fox did. I once had a kid tell me that all SVT cobras were supercharged, then proceeded to try to convince me that the MAF sensor on his 94 was the supercharger. Just because someone says it doesn't mean it's true.

Yeah, I'm going to go out and say that their probably 3.27's then,

The letter under AX on the door sticker is E

P.S

I'm not even close to being a dumb kid that would think all Cobras are SC.

So am I better off going with the 4.10's to get off the line faster against these ricers?
