By the way, do any of you guys know what type of hood his is or what it is called?

that is the cobra R svo hood.. not bad. tell him to change it back to the 4 eye look!

Nice looking project, but 86 was the last year of the four eyes man, they should have kept it all original, some four eyes look good when well restored like what your buddys trying to do (body work, paint, interior, under the hood, etc).

Yeah he just got the car a few weeks ago, it was like it is when he bought it, he is a painter like me so he plans to get it painted in the next few weeks and dome some other mods as well.

doesnt sound like it accelerated very quickly either.

uh...some one went threw a lot of trouble making that think look like a 87+ car...front clip, GT ground effects, Dash board...are you sure its an 86?

If that is an 86, it's a shame. That person went wayyyy into the 87+ swap. I read the comments and expected the front clip to be newer but even the quarter windows...

Yeah, I'm sure it's an 86, He got the car from his neighbor like it is, but they also gave him all the original parts wit it too, so he can change it back if he wanted to.
