Car doesn't look that rough.

As for price, I'm amazed at the price of SBC stuff. I'm rebuilding a Chevy 350 in autos. And got a cam and lifter set for under $40. And it will have some lope, it's not a oem replacement. The parts are damn near free.

Todays progress was...MESSY. i took out all the rest of the panels, back deck, took off the trunk lid(getting a new one) pas side door panel wen by by, and lastly the headliner and all trim. I also started picking at the sound deadener(the grey spots), but it is TUFF to get off. any tips tricks would be welcome.

the only thing left is the dash( i need to learn how to take it out) so i can take out the heater core and all radio wiring.

pics from today.

Interior is shot but the exterior doesn't look to bad. I see we have the same driver door panel.

how do u figure the interior is "shot" there is not 1 crack in the dash, the headliner was in good shape.. all i would need to do is get new seats and put carpet in it.. the door panels werent even that bad.

but the idea with this car is lightweight...
