3.8 to a 5.0 need some advice

i have a 98 mustang that a 3.8 i am converting it to a 5.0 carb it is curently a fuel injected and i was wondering if anyone has done anything like this

i pun a carb. in my 5.0 92 after it burned.
is very is a car with carb a like it.

never done this but your probly looking at upgrading the fuel system, rear end, fabing up the motor mounts as well *** tranny crossmember. and possible beefing up the front end to combensate the added weight.

I have the same car 98 with a 3.8. Does the k member have to be changed to put the 5.0 in

I don't think the 96+ crossmembers work with a 5.0, but I've read about some people getting them to (I think by swapping the v8 motor mounts from one side to the other). I'd see if you can find either a stock one at a wrecker or used, or pick up an aftermarket tubular one for piece of mind
