my guess is dealer installed options... nothing special about it...
and SSI intake? toss that junk and get an Edelbrock RPM II or a Systemax...

Say what you wont about the SSI I got it for a 100 bucks and i can pull my valave covers in about 4 mins. Convenience is nice when your a do it yourself.

well, if you got it for that cheap, then Its worth every penny lol... you cant even find complete GT40 intakes for 100 bucks, unless you find one at a pick a part...

What you have is the California Sport that Saleen produced. Not to be confused with the nation-wide 1992-93 GT Sport. The 1993 Sport had the add-on rear wing, ARE produced DP-5 style wheels. (The '92 Edition might have had standard polished 5-star AREs.)
Consider the CA Sport to be like a regional dealer special.
Oddly enough, just yesterday when I was going through the boxes of Saleen material for the next leg of the archive project... I came across the press release(s) and production info for these CA Sport cars. Crazy.
The CA Sport is a neat footnote of Saleen History. Enjoy it!

i forgot they also were supposed to come with the saleen steering wheel which most people like myself do not have, the original owner sold it like a dumass

your ride is a gt with saleen rims and a sticker package = nothing special = not worth anything...I don't care if it's special to you = that's nice...to a collector it's not a prize find.....and FYI you wanna call me names....I can give you a quick timeout if you do it again....thank you and welcome to the forum. and please don't bump a 3 year old useless thread again
