Don't you also have a DUI? The one you got in the Tarus while you were hyphy? So a DUI and an accident with an 03-04 Cobra and your 18... hmmm...

how can you ask us what to do with the car when we can't even see it?

post pics and tell us what really happend....

no bank is going to finance an 03/04 cobra to an 18 year old.

Honestly one the thing you have to consider is, if you get one, by having your dad either co-sign or having it in his name all together. if you get into a bind financially, that will result in your dad having to make payment for you. or it will hurt his credit. You say you make about 1,300 a month and you live at home..(i miss those day..lol) i don't know your particular situation but you will probably have a car note between $350-$550 a month. not including insurance. you could plan on spending at least half of your monthly income just for the car. so you would have round $650 a month for gas. mods(if you choose to do so), and just general spending/living money. Ask yourself if you really want to do it.
I agree with everyone here saying to just find a LX or even a GT. it would be a lot cheaper than a 03-04 cobra. You should look under the classified here and get a rough idea what to price your parts for. or just keep it till you find a good LX or GT and have a good parts car. Just my thoughts, i don't want you to make a bad decision that will last for 4-5 yrs( life of the loan)
BTW: good to know you are ok...

Whoever paid 27k for an 03 04 Cobra must have been nuts! They blue book high in the teens with the 04s touchin 20. It must have had either 3000 miles or have EVERY mod done to it possible.
