Id say get a 4 cyl, IMO, I couldnt even afford a Termie right now, Im 21, perfect record, and I make a healthy paycheck..

Honestly one the thing you have to consider is, if you get one, by having your dad either co-sign or having it in his name all together. if you get into a bind financially, that will result in your dad having to make payment for you. or it will hurt his credit. You say you make about 1,300 a month and you live at home..(i miss those day..lol) i don't know your particular situation but you will probably have a car note between $350-$550 a month. not including insurance. you could plan on spending at least half of your monthly income just for the car. so you would have round $650 a month for gas. mods(if you choose to do so), and just general spending/living money. Ask yourself if you really want to do it.
I agree with everyone here saying to just find a LX or even a GT. it would be a lot cheaper than a 03-04 cobra. You should look under the classified here and get a rough idea what to price your parts for. or just keep it till you find a good LX or GT and have a good parts car. Just my thoughts, i don't want you to make a bad decision that will last for 4-5 yrs( life of the loan)
