Wrecked my Mustang

take out the parts you can use or sell... this happened to me about 4 years ago, and i was so depressed about the accident i forgot to grab everything important that I could use or make money off of. I forgot about the a9l, cheese grater taillights, indash guages, and some other odds and ends... dont let this happen to you!
Dont forget the a9l/a9p computer, maf parts, interior parts, other things like that.
As for insurance, back in 2000 when I was 18 I bought a 92 5.0 GT. Full coverage was 2200 every 6 months with GEICO. And that was with a perfect record. Nowadays its a lil bit better being married and older... I have a 87 GT Vert with full coverage and I pay 90 a month.

yea i wouldnt get into a big loan if i were you. I was in that situation with an 06 lincoln ls that my dad signed for and i made the $660/mo car payment, I ended up being dumb at 20yrs old and got a dwi and now hes stuck with it and i feel horrible. I would save ur parts n buy a $1k 4cyl in good cond then swap.

As for the Cobra, after listening to your guys' suggestions I think I'm going to hold off on that and just save up.
I'll probably just part out the stang and get a loan of 3-5k and get another fox.
Payments on that would be about 150-250 bucks and I can definetly afford that.
Also, what is needed for the MAF conversion if I was to get a fox without it.
The MAF sensor and what else? A Harness?

Thanks guys, yeah I'm good, I've already got a buyer for the engine, front bumper, fenders, radiator, fan, hood.
The guys giving me $1,000 for all of the stuff listed above.
Would you guys say thats a good price or should I charge him more?
