Default Stroke me Baby

OK, I am now the proud owner of a 331 stroker short block, all forged, fresh from the machine shop, O-ringed, DSS main support, Professional Products Damper, Canton 7 Quart oil pan. Just need some heads and I am all set.

Nothing wrong with it, just pointing out someone cut it in half because the Probe main girdles are one continuous piece of steel that goes around the outside of the oil pump. Cutting it, just killed the whole "girdle effect". Also was pointing out its not a DSS main girdle as Tom (DSS) only sells aluminum girdles. Carry on................

Thats cool, it is going to be fine for my use anyhow, probably wouldn't even need a girdle anyway, its was just a bonus. I'm planning on AFR 185 heads and a mild cam since I need to pass emissions here in Denver, I may or may not supercharge it in the future and if I did I probably wouldn't run more than 10# of boost.

Also its hard to tell but did you measure the pickup to pan clearance because they didnt use the long main stud for the tab, they tucked it under the stud nut, which is fine if "they" or "you" adjusted the pickup depth .375-.500 from pickup to pan clearance.
