How much is a used fox body GT door molding worth?

just like the title sais...I found one I need and the guy said shoot him an offer,but I want to make sure I don't over pay or low ball him lol...thanks

It depends on how they were pulled off, if they were peeled off and the metal strip is warped, I would say very low, if they were pulled off properly, go a bit higher.

doesn't matter if the metal backing is warped, you can remove the metal backing and the molding will lay flat again, I did such with my 85 and reapplied 3m tape and it worked good as new, but either way used moldings aren't worth alot

It's only worth what you're willing to pay for it.

And .....I could never get my lower door molding to lay flat until I removed that thin metal backing from it, and yes I made sure I removed mine carefully when I removed it.
