Default Question about forged internals.
I was wondering about what years that the 5.0 came factory with forged internals. because i have a 93 and i want to put nitrous on it. but my friend told me they went to hyperutectic pistons in 93. I dont want to spray it if it doesn't have forged internals.

the hypers arent bad, they just arent as good as the forged, you shouldnt have any problems spraying unless YOU **** something up

hyper pistons will easily hold up to a 100 shot.... I sprayed a 100 on my kb hypers witth no problem

its a big mis conception that you have to have forged to run any forced induction, which you really dont

also note all the internals weren't forged, just the pistons.
