So I was putting together the official shoping list of parts I need/want for my build. Basicly this will be the standard HCI with the Cobra intake, GT40 heads, and still to be narrowed down cam (I'm leaning toward E cam but we'll see)

Any way, I was wondering if the Cobras ran the stock 19lb injectors? I don't see why they wouldn't but I figured I'd check so I know if I should add bigger injectors to my list.

And if I don't have to go bigger, should I get new FRPP 19lb injectors or just stick with the stock ones?

cobra's ran 24's, your stock old 19's will work fine

if theres nothing wrong with your stock ones i wanted buy new ones. if you do have to buy new ones i would consider going a little larger so you have a little room to grow if you plan on any future mods

so basicly if it's conveniant then I should go ahead and get 24lbs and if its not then just stick with 19lbs. Sounds good to me. That sounds like the last thing to worry about then. Thanks.

go to the junkyard find a lincoln mark 8 they have the 4.6 dohc motors yank the injectors you now have 24lb injectors for about 40-100$

also take the electric fan and 3g alternator if you dont have one

yeah, the fan and alt are some of the first things on the list...(but gears might win out when the time comes)

take the maf from the lincoln too it is calibrated for 24lbers you have to mod the intake tubing a little

I have CAI, so just swap out the joints if needed. But like i said, I'll do injectors/maf down the line a bit. No point wasting the money now if it isn't going to help me (not to mention I don't have the money to spend) Thanks for the heads up on the MAF though, good idea.

well the maf is a lot bigger on the lincoln and is calibrated to run those 24 so it will be a cheap up grade, do it once do it right
