i bought a new dipstick and tube since the one that was on my car was wrong and loose but i cant get the tube to go all the way in. anyone know a trick to getting it in there all the way? it looks like its a press fit and i cant really tap it in with a hammer because the tube is too curved.

put a little penetrating oil on the end of the tube and wiggle it in place
