Wow, you guys get a lot of mpg with stock 5.0's. When mine was stock on a tank of gas i'd get maybe 150 MAX, and that wasn't pedal to the metal that was just cruising around mileage on highway...

Hell I get 200 before I am empty so about 12-14 mpg on average. I run a c4 with 2.73's and driving down the highway at 3000+rpms everyday and alot of "fast driving" you could say.

mpg = miles driven / gallons of fuel added to tank

miles per tank can't be compared between cars....

Ummm.... yea it can. It is called the the miles per gallon. All of our cars have the same size tank (unless you have a fuel cell).

If we were comparing completely different cars i.e a mustang to a camaro, or a classic mustang versus a brand new mustang it'd be different, but if fox style body it'll be the same size tank unless i'm mistaken.
