youll be fine with just 2.5" from the headers to the turbo. after that i would just do 3" all the way back just to save on labor but if you go with 3" into a 2.5" Y and then out the back itll look stock. be sure to run a straight through muffler like magnaflow or dynamax. nothing with baffles like flowmaster. i run dynamax race bullets on my car. they dont do a whole lot of sound deadening but they are really small and fit right next to my tranny where the exhaust dumps

you can always go with an exhaust system like this guy did. probably one of the sickest turbo exhausts in a fox i have ever seen. if i was running one turbo this is what i would have done

That exhaust is cool but alittle over the top for me. This is going to be a street car. The car has flowmasters on it already(like almost every other foxbody), due to the budget they will have to stay. Do you think I can get away with 2.5 on the cold side also? It would be alot eaiser to package it.

yup guys, thats my neighbor bill. great guy, great family. i cant wait for the new one to come along but i know he'll have his hands full! he might even need my help!! oh no!

ha ha. thanks for welcoming him, and im jealous of him since he bought his car for 300 less than i bought mine for and doesnt have a spec of rust on that thing. hopefully this build moves along nicely and we'll have some new info on the ....dun dun dun.. EBAY TURBO!!!

+1, sell the flows and get yourself a straight through muffler, you will regret the flows. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Summi...Q5fAccessories
here is a cheap glass pack, only $30 shipped. if you buy 2 im sure theyll do some sort of combined shipping and you might be able to get $40 for the flows so it wont cost much to make the switch.

youll be fine with 2.5" piping for the cold side, your not going for extreme power. i think most MAF's are 3" tho but with a single turbo im assuming your going to do a draw through setup so that wont be a factor. the inlet on the turbo should be 3" at least

and just fyi, that mustang with the super short exhaust....that is a street car
