as you can tell I am pretty damn excited...I went to so many shops and everyone told me I had to replace it and it was going to cost an arm and a leg...I went to this place called Sirls in Cleveland and they did an incredible job...heres some pics of the damage and some pics of the repair...

so why didn't you get the hood painted while it was there??

haha my dad got a brand new truck and wasent used to the long bed...anyway he backed up into me and bent the latch back and the saftey wasent catching it...and you guys can figure out the rest...scared the crap out of me i was going maybe 35mph and the hood flew up...so I got a new 2.5" cowl induction hood from cervinis, new cowl grille, and new hood hinges

I didnt paint it because I will be painting the car next summer so why spend the money?
