my smog guy knows me and is my best friend. He doesn't care if it won't pass visually, cause he passes me on that regardless. What he doesn't let me pass on is if my numbers don't pass he won't pass manually pass it for me in the system. (for example:The fuel pressure regulator he says technically doesn't pass visually but since it doesn't effect my smog emissions at all he doesn't care.) SO I just need a product that produces the right numbers, visually inspecting it doesn't matter in the slightest..

let me explain it differently. if you find a shop that has a stock mustang or car similar to it, they can enter your vehicle info into the computer and then put the stock, emissions friendly, car on the dyno and have that car actually take the test for you.

but to answer your orriginal question, you could get some long tubes and a catted midpipe. hook up an egr line to it and run it on the machine. should pass no problem if you have some high flow cats and a buddy who doesnt do a visual

We've done that in the past, but in the area I live recently smog shops have been getting busted for doing that somehow, I used to do that all the time with them until 5 smog shops got busted earlier this year for doing that for their friends... Don't want to take the risk and bust my friends up, but otherwise i would still be doing that!!!!

i think all long tubes for the foxes have o2 bungs.

the egr valve works through the heads to get exhaust gasses from so your good there. high flow cats dont need the air line from the smog pump to work correctly. only old sh*tty cats need that. if you get some long tubes and run a catted mid pipe youll have no problem passing the sniffer. if anything, the new cats would make the car pass even better because by now, if you have stock cats on your car, they are tired to say the least
