About 2 months ago the shipping date at Summit was 10/15, now it's 12/24. I know that Holley, the parent company had some bad money problems a year or 2 ago but who don't nowadays.
Know any place to get some?

Now I'm a fan of Hooker headers myself and have Hooker 1 3/4 longtubes for mine. spending nearly 800 dollars on a set of headers wasn't in my game plan but with my heads and trans combo it had to be. Is there any particular reason you have to have the Hooker long tubes?

You can pick up Headman, Flowtech, BBK or even Summit's line for less money. The Summit (AKA Flowtech) are 99 dollar vs the Hookers 500+ dollar price tag. Both headers have 5/16 thick flanges, 18 ga tubes and both have 3 inch collectors and the biggest differance is the Hooker is a tuned header. To tell you the truth on a street car where you hook up any kind of exhaust you will never know the differance. Because they are 1 5/8 I am assuming these are for a street car. If it's a drag car where you have to run a stock style head and you are running open headers and looking to extract that very last ounce of Horsepower then the Hookers would be justified.

Just my thoughts, but would like to know what the combo is and why.
