I would never recommend a gt40 on a 347, buy you do what you have to do until you can afford a better set.

Would not recommend any stock heads on a modified engine, but if you had to choose I would choose the GT40P's. The design of the head is the best Ford came out with during that time, and they do show differences between them and their counterpart the GT-40 head.

Worked GT-40P heads are another story, though. I have seen some incredible results with cars reaching into the 11 second quarters, but obviously only with extensive work done. If you know someone reputable who can do it for cheap, then do that until you can afford it. Otherwise, save your money and get a decent set of used AFR's or Trickflow's or something. Edelbrocks are alright as well.

if it where me id go with the 347, save up a little longer so you can get good head's on there, and put a 100shot of nitrous on it for when you wanna hit the track.

should be a mid 11's car.......... ask MJR

Your number is prob pretty accurate when you consider all the china built heads sold on ebay, all the street heads and mild performance heads on the market. Still that 5% left leaves a wide range of high flowing heads to choose from. Amazes me for a guy that has a mail order engine business that you come off so nasty ie "If you have a CLUE" ? Thats funny. Why go there when you know what I said was 100% absolute truth? I never said every windsor head would outflow the Cleveland heads. I said "there are Windsor heads that would outflow any Cleveland head ever would" I don't mind people disagreeing with me but to challange my knowledge on an issue where you knew I was right just doesn't make much sence to me. maybe I'm just too old to understand, lol

my 347 with 100 shot is mid tens when and if I get to run another bottle pass, I built my 347 to be very streetable and mild....however I'm soon to change some of that, hope to hit 10's all motor in a fullweight street trim ride on stock t-5 and a soft launch!!lol

most likely , but I'd need at least 4.10's, a stronger tranny, and a few combo tweeks but I wish to accomplish task on a stock t-5 and a soft launch, so changing a few things on the combo will be the requirement, but it won't be the heads as they are sufficient
