Opinions on Explorer GT40 Intake
#2
wym, changing it out for another aftermarket?
Its a good intake for stockish to mildly built cars, but if you upping for serious power, you should go with a TF or Eddy manifold.
I have p/p Explorer on mine, and I think itll hold up fine for my plans in the near future (better heads and s/c), but if you are planing a stroker or big n/a #'s, consider going with another

theres alot of information on the web about that intake. some people will say its the best street manifold made. it provides alot of streetable hp. low rpm hp and torque. other intakes such as the trickflow or edy will have higher dyno numbers over the gt40, but the gt40 will have the most usable hp.
