Why do you add more friction modifier when it already has it in it?

When I do a rear (in most cases) I put new clutches in it as well. I soak the clutches in friction modifier before I install them. I take the friction modifer add it to the Mobil1 and install it. Ford started doing to same thing on the Terminater Cobras in 03 so I figured my way was OK being I had being using that combo for a good while. Plus it stinks so good, lol

Oh OK, I never add any extra since it was already in there.

It seems like I'm the odd man out, but I when I changed mine out, I used Castrol Hypoy C 80w-90 and a bottle of MC friction modifier. The only reason I chose that is because it was the only jug that has the Ford ESP-M2C154-A spec number on the bottle that the service manual suggested.

I also used a Fel Pro gasket without any sealer.

I used either royal purple 75w-140 or Valvoline 75w-140 full synthetic for limited slips.

Excellent. Thanks.
Now that you have stated why you use what you use, have you noticed
any difference than what was originally put in from the factory. If you
have a vehicle that you purchased used and are unsure of what was in
it, do you notice a difference in performance, longevity, etc.?
