Default Ud pulleys

I am thinking about getting ud pulleys when i have more money, but im not sure theyd be good on my stang. I have a 12 inch sub and 6 speakers with stock alternator? Will this be ok? Will my power steering be affected? how hard is it to install these?

With the subs It might not be the best thing. I know on my gt at idle my volt gauge read low until I gave it some gas. I did feel a few hp's in the seat dyno too. I picked mine up off ebay for 40 bucks shipped I believe.

well your battery level will probably drop when you come to a stop and at lights etc..it wont affect the steering and there not hard to install just bolts .. the crank pulley might be a pain in the *** if you dont have an impact gun ...

I'd swap the alternator out if your going with the uds...durring the day you might not have a problem..but at night your lights will thank you. and if it starts to rain...so will your wipers.

MMm from what you guys said I dont think im going to go for it. I think im going to do longtube headers mid pipe and gears. I was thinking about a 70 mm throttle body too since in the future ill need it for a hci swap.

UD pullys are cheap hp but in my opinion just not worth the minimal gains. take a look at the bolt on myths thread.

Kinda not in the same price range - exhaust and gears/pullies....

I say go for it with the pullies, I got some TFs for cheap, and yea, the voltage sits a little low at idle with the stereo (1 sub and Mach460) blasting, but never given me any trouble..
