shifter install

Default shifter install

when unbolting the dust boot i noticed there are 2 bolts that are under the stereo which means it is imposible to remove any tips?

u can get them just use a little wrench and it can be done its how i did all mine....

yeah a little wrench, 1/8th of a turn at a time, glad the '86 interior is nicer

i dont like to fight things. took out the center console, only took 15 minutes longer.

just loosen up and use your fingers.........

just a normal wrench and then use my fingers hmmmmm my fingers are not toothpicks i will try thanks for the great advice

8mm 1/4 inch drive universal socket on a 6 inch extention.
